Neat: Honey and vanilla! It’s young, and I can’t help but associate this with some Irish malts, here’s a lot of apples, hey and well, yes HONEY for everyone.
With water: About the same, but it flattens out and really loses it’s character. Imagine drinking Jameson’s with ice, and how good that is after 30 minutes.
Neat: Sweet, a little spirit and here the young comes through. Loads of apples, and less nuts than in the Special 03. It’s very clean, but lack any sign of complexity.
With water: Well, it follows the nose here, but a hangs on better. In the taste there’s still some “woof”, and plenty of apples and honey for everyone.
Neat: Fresh honey melon! Medium long, and still on the sweet side. Very “fruit focused”.
With water: Well, here it actually makes an impact, but a flat impact with honeyed fruits.
