The nose leads with honey, herbal mint and vanilla cream, before the fruits then fully take over with a burst of strawberry, then lemons and mandarins. The palate leads with the herbs, and is surprisingly less fruity than the nose would suggest. Very much more the mineral side of Ben Nevis that comes through here, with a slightly chalky bite. The honeys and fruits come back along with a herbal wave on the finish, giving it an overall balance between the sweet and mineral. Overall a very clean compilation of Ben Nevis characteristics, that's neither too fruity nor too austere.
