Whisky Reviews for Beldorney 1997 DT

2 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 91.00 points

  1. TP-Darknight scored this whisky 91 points Member Senior

Wonderful smell of apple strudel, vanilla fondant, honey, raisins, maple syrup and poached pear. The taste was again honey, fudge and a little ginger spice, followed by apple muffins with a pinch of charcoal. Long-lasting, sweet, caramelized apple with cream on the finish, remains waxy on the palate.

  2. Holle525 did not rate this whisky Expert Junior

This is a so called Wardhead Whisky. The basis of the Beldorney is the well known Glenfiddich teaspooned with a Balvenie. So interesting how this corresponds together but the influence of Balvenie should not be very dominant.
