Whisky Reviews for Koval Four Grain
4 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 73.20 points
- Out of the three Kovals tasted over the last three days I liked this the most. Not as rounded as the other two but with a bit more character. Also the nose is not hit as hard with the smell of paint thinner/glue. Slightly longer lasting finish but compared to similarly priced Scottish single malts instantly forgettable. Won't be buying any of the Kovals in the near future.

- was part of a blind tasting. Before that, it didn't do very well as it is certainly not everyone's cup of tea. But I liked it and can recommend it to anyone who likes to experiment.
PS: The description of the taste with glue doesn't seem to match my rating, but just try it, then it might be more understandable.
Wood, tannins, caramel, cherry and carpeting
Tannins, wood, soft and mild, glue
Rather short, tannins remain slightly sweet to me
