A nice, fresh (very fresh, almost spritely) whisky with lashings of vanilla, malt and a sweet zestiness.
    • Nose
      87 87
Alcohol forward nose but time and water tame it very nicely. Sweet! Honey and vanilla shortbread, lemon/lime and a bit peppery.
    • Taste
      90 90
Wonderful rich malty arrival, thick and chewy texture to it. Lemony through the development with the vanilla making a fleeting appearance on the edge of the mouth before turning a a touch bitter (bitter chocolate or coffee).
    • Finish
      87 87
Lemon and mango linger for some time before turning quite dry.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Blueberry muffin, lemon curd, a subtle hint of salt and pepper crisps.

Palate: Chewy malt, grilled pineapple, waxy peels, chocolate digestives and some forest floor earthiness.

    Finish: Juicy orchard fruit lasts.
