This drum has to breeze in the glass, quite a lot. Initially it felt very "funky" and synthetic like some rums, with a strong notes of furniture polish. I was really disappointed, but after 15-20 min in the glass it improved a lot, becoming a very high quality drum from all points of view.

Initially I didn't like it to much: vanilla, furniture polish. After 15 min in the glass it improves a lot, appears some plum, vanilla feels a bit less, polish completely decades

dark fruits, spice, quite intense, but harmonic. Feels stronger, than 49%
    • Finish
      88 88
medium, some fruits, a bit spicy

Chocolate, orange, some leather. Very good, old sherry malt, but just too expensive at the moment

Nice dark fruits on the nose and in the taste dark chocolate, espresso and leather. Something strange fleshy-jelly-metallic at the back, but that goes very harmoniously with the malt. Beautiful single cask whisky that has its unique and beautiful character.

Somewhat sharp, sweet sherry, strawberries, tart cranberry, dark caramel, orange peel, fresh bread dough
    • Taste
      91 91
A nice soft creamy entry, light spices and big sweet sherry fruits (strawberry, raisin), caramel
    • Finish
      90 90
The spices linger well with the sweetness of the sherry that really was the star of this show, the oak comes to let you know it’s here after the sweet subsides
