The nose starts very flowery and sweet but the typical HP maritime and peaty notes are there as well.
Flowers, Rosewater, Elderflower, Pears, Peaches, Sweet white grapes, granny Smith, apricots, cotton candy and vanilla notes give way to seagrassy notes and typical maritime smoke.
You can also smell that it is cask strength but the alcohol seems very well integrated. -
Starts very sweet and flowery again, that gives note to some herbal notes followed by wonderful cheesecake Vanilla and maple syrup sweetness and light smoke.
Elderflower, vanilla, pepper, grassy, Pears, apricots, leather, tobacco, caramel followed by the subtle Highland park Peat and maritime notes. -
Again I get the strong apple, pear, apricot and white grape taste but it is immediately replaced by strong maritime tastes like seaweed and smoked salmon. Not as sweet as the taste but you have the sweetness lingering in the background
