  1. LiquidThoughts scored this whisky 89 points Connoisseur

Freaky, but awesome. Very own combination, very present and spicy, but alcohol still super integrated, super drinkable for almost 60%!
    • Nose
Very own nose, exciting, he has the lochside dirty, already reaching in the stable, roasted malt, slightly smoky, but at the same time also a floral touch and blossom honey, dried apricot, macadamia nuts, hay, young pineapple, later also roasted cocoa
    • Taste
Sparkling start, carbon dioxide, roasted malt, roasted pineapple, cool, charcoal, wax, green apple, lemongrass and ginger juice, clove and cinnamon, some green pepper and camphor, toffee and resin, roasted papaya and walnut
    • Finish
Resin, roasted malt, ginger, camphor, green apple, long, strong, spicy and warming, walnut

The dirty aromas determine this one, fruitiness is only minimal. A bit uninspired on the palate, the finish hits hard again and determines the "dirty" character of the whisky again.

A beefy, rather fruity, grainy Lochside.
    • Nose
      87 87
Quite sweet, rather light and floral nose.
Pink, lilac, very light stewed flower.
Apricot, peach, green apple, light pineapple and orange zest.
      Light sourdough, barley, wood.
    • Taste
      88 88
In the mouth it is creamy.
      Lemon, apricot, pineapple, blood orange.
      Pepper, woody spices, cloves.
      Light camphor and aromatic herbs.
    • Finish
      87 87
Long finish on barley, pepper, ginger, wood, candied lemon, and the return of pot pourri.

An enjoyable Lochside, but not very well balanced.
    • Nose
Oaky and sweet barley. Green apples. Flowery notes. Also a bit farmy. Not a very typical Lochside nose in my opinion.
    • Taste
Waxy and creamy but also alcoholic. This whisky definitly needs some water. Hot and spicy. Peppers and nutmeg. Lots of liquorice. Vanilla as well. Apricots.
    • Finish
Medium long. Bitter-sweetness. Gingery. Later on more salty.

  7. MARS scored this whisky 90 points Expert Senior

This malt have a strange characteristic. When you add water he takes the colour of milk.
Not the best lochside out there and alcool is not really well integrated but I like it.

  8. Bachess scored this whisky 87 points Administrator

Number 6 of Tina's advent calendar 2010 I scored 97 points on this one! Guessed everything right, only the alcohol was 0.3% wrong
