It smells a little like brandy now still on coffee and dark choclate mixed in with chocolate and spice on the palate.I enjoyed this and liked the array of flavours but I think the Glenugie profile was swamped a little by the sherry in final analysis.
    • Nose
Sherry is prickly that hints at the alcoholic strength, turkish delight, marshmallow, slight tobacco, blackcurrant, hint of lime, cough candy, bubble gum, raisins.
    • Taste
A little thin on the palate with slightly bitter coffee, dark chocolate,a little dark honey, spicy and slightly woody.
    • Finish
      Long, warming and slight spices.

Nose slightly alcoholic, very waxy, notes of milk chocolate, a little triple-dry, some spices, a hint of tobacco. Nice but we knew more expressive.

In the mouth, p * tain it stings, I did not expect it! Past the surprise, it's not bad this case, nicely tart on candied citrus (oranges, kumquats, tangerine) with the sherry that surrounds everything, then the wood comes back to the front of the stage via spices.

Quite long but drying, very spicy and minty.

Mouaip ... Not bad but I waited better.

light amber color, powerful nose, a little alcoholic, moderately expressive, especially marked by orange, spices, menthol, cereals, tobacco, a little chocolate and hazelnut in the background. Mouth powerful, with a large scale, alcohol better integrated than the nose, a little more marked sherry, very fruity and tangy attack on the tangerine and the orange, close to the 1981 DT, then the fruitiness decreases little by little and the whisky becomes more and more spicy. Long finish, spicy, minty. Too bad the alcohol makes the nose a little unpleasant.
