Nose: A very strong honey note that hits you hard! floral too, but hugely perfume like with that honey, and hints of lemon. weird stuff. Certainly not a big ABV malt, 40’s or so.

Palate: Some pepper, with lemon drops and that honey from the nose makes a comeback here as well, funky stuff that’s for sure, and not in a good way if i might add. Not one to my liking.Floral.

Finish: Pepper, Lemon and honey, with more florals.

Notes based on a blind sample. I haven't tasted honey this clearly in a whisky before. Great stuff, but lacks a bit of intensity (percentage?) to score higher.
    • Nose
A generously honeyed fruit salad. You can almost sit on the tropical fruit vapors. There's also a faintly medicinal edge.
    • Taste
Thick, oily and another fruit overload with honey. The fruit fades quickly though, but the honey remains. So dangerously drinkable. After a while the wood influence becomes clearer, but I don't find it overpowering at all.
    • Finish
Wood spices and a lingering fruitiness that turns slightly medicinal after a while. OK skip that, turns rather more medicinal. Fruity and medicinal. Old school whisky. Yum!

A pleasant whisky with a pleasant profile.
    • Nose
Grassy! I think :) Also very floral plus some honey notes. Next up is apple, or apple schnapps. Lots of lemon and a tiny bit dusty.
    • Taste
Some obvious oak influence, grapefruit as well and a slight dryness. Again apple, but also orange. And a bitterness, which I'm not quite sure if I find it pleasant or not.
    • Finish
Pear, a surprising hint of smoke and again honey. Medium in length.

Blind sample in BTC 2014. Didn't see this one coming at all!
    • Nose
First smelly feet or mouldy cheese, not a great welcome. Then sugared almond, citrus, pollen and jute.
    • Taste
Sugared almond, pepper, orange and citrus. Eventually peach, toffee and chocolate.
    • Finish
Sugared almond, citrus, chestnut, toffee and smoke.

      nutty and malty
