We are back into grain territory, one of my specialties. The nose is quite appealing, featuring marzipan, hazelnuts and coriander. Honey, cereals and hints of polystyrene emerge. On the palate, a peppery kick of wood spices gives way to caramel, bitter tea and spearmint. Brown sugar and maple syrup mark the spicy and slightly dry finish. It's not the best grain in my book, but pretty decent considering its price.
