Whisky Reviews for Scotch Universe Lunar Crater: Picard 132° U.2.1' 1821.2"

- It is a linkwood
- Blind tasting from an advent calendar: poetic, dry Oloroso sherry, mint, sage, walnut liqueur, red fruits, very elegant and ethereal; absolutely delivers in terms of taste what the nose promises: noble, creamy, fine dark chocolate, nutmeg, espresso, already on the dry side, but still oily and fat, new leather, blackberry jam, dried fruits ... brilliant, exactly my sherry profile; Tap on an older Glendronach, Aberlour or Glenlivet from a 1st fill Oloroso ...
Denouement: Lunar Crater Picard, under 80 €! Wahnsinns PLV, would have blindly estimated twice as much ... and also twice as old!
- Too thin, too flat, not very expressive. The Scotch Universe bottlings are (also) very bad ....
Fried crispy, creme brulee, too thin / flat
Very short, not very expressive
- Round, balanced, light whisky with a pleasant fruity sweetness
some sherry, dark candied fruit, some cherry, sweetness
Sherry, dark fruits, sweetness, creamy, the alcohol is well integrated
a little sherry, fruity, sweet, becoming drier, medium length
