[July, 2011]  Together with friends I emptied a bottle that I bought for 92 Euro in March, 2011.
    In my old rating system (ten scales that translate into WB points: 50 - 66 - 75 - 80 - 82,5 - 85 - 87,5 - 90 - 92,5 - 95) I scored it 87,5.  I took no notes.

[November, 2012]  I had this dram during a Lion's club tasting near Würzburg. In
my old rating system (ten scales that translate into WB points: 50
    - 66 - 75 - 80 - 82,5 - 85 - 87,5 - 90 - 92,5 - 95) I scored it 87,5.  My notes state a (probably fino) sherry profile with some flaws that make it somewhat interesting.  A dram best suited to explore what are flaws and what is fine (you know, this depends on your taste only!).  But allow significant time to breathe (as usual with sherried whiskies...).

    • Nose
First of: quite faint, alcohol is noticeable in the nose, ethanol, a bit of smoke, malt, somewhat creamy, couverture slightly over use-by date, waxed young-ish oak,  (83)
Later: waxed wood, wet sand, vanilla, fermented fruits/compost, printing ink/newspaper, grape juice, (85)
    • Taste
sweet malt- & grain note but with a funny smoked-fish inbetween, somewhat mossy,  raisins & chocolate o (more dry raisins than chocolate) (84)
    • Finish
warm malt sweetness, some cooked grapes o, also a few astringent white wine notes, some more chocolate o/- and a bit of smoke at the very end (85).
Quite often there's a few bitter & plastic-y notes at the end as well and spirit seems to move to the fore over time as well. Somewhat of an anti climax for me... (76)
