I don't know what it is with me and the nose of single grain whisky.
I always find them difficult to fathom out.
This is no exception.
Butter and marmalade on white bread.
Nothing else jumps out.
And as always the taste is something else.
Again it is quite buttery and sweet and spicy.
More fruit coming through like lemon, golden delicious apple, kiwi and dried banana.
A medium finish that is quite dry and slightly bitter.
This I don't mind at all as long as there is other stuff going on to back it up but nothing here, it's dry, bitter then dead.
