- bottle No. 205 shared to the whisky.de forum
- beautiful malt with which I like the palate and especially the beginning of the finish very much.
Very citrus and rather subtle smoky.
fresh, lots of citrus fruits, very light smoke, light maritime notes. After a long time, the smoke becomes more intense and peaty
It could be smoked fish, citrus fruits, light pepper, sweet, very light chocolate, maritime notes here too. Slightly bitter later
nice aromatic finish, sweet and only slightly smoky, flowery and fruity. Getting a bit bitter towards the end
- Pleasantly maritime, citrus-heavy smoker. The smoke is rather sweet and somewhat herbal. Then even more sweetness in the mouth. Quite light in character. Nothing complicated, but rather something for the side.
- In a sense a quite decent, clean maritime style Port Ellen, but quite mellow and a kind of understating.
Quite maritime, fruity sweetness, seaweed, a bit of salt.
Salty, a bit of peat, smoke, maritime, a bit of sweetness.
Salt, a bit of peat and smoke, spices, a bit of sweetness.
Fresh. Garden fire. Grilled lemons. Dried mint leaves. Warm sand.
Smoked fish with lemon. Black pepper, honey, milk chocolate, smoky ash.
