Dark amber shines with a silk-orange shimmer in the glass, on the glass wall of my Premium Snifter there is a viscous streak from which a multitude of small "legs" come loose. Old toffee and hard caramel rise gently, creamy sweets and fudges exude their sweet fragrance, hints of raisins and dates mix with delicate wood tones, grapes and berries pickled in rum are subtly shown. Slowly mandarins and isolated zests of old oranges come into their own, a minimal smoke note is discreetly in the background, the alcohol is extremely mild and harmoniously integrated despite almost 60%. Old and solid wood tones flatter the nose, the sweet creamy sweets become more and more intense, a few rasps of creamy milk chocolate fall on hazelnuts and smoked beech. The nose is incredibly soft and solid, from time to time the relatively high alcohol content appears and intensifies the aroma of dried fruits, creamy caramel and toffee. The smoky note also comes into its own after a few minutes and stimulates the saliva again ...

Dried grapes and berries stick powerfully on the palate after the first sip, sweet caramel and creamy toffee rest on the tongue with meadow herbs and spicy wood tones and produce a fine tingling sensation. An opulent mixture of juicy oranges, sweet dates and raisins, grating of old grapefruit ends with hints of creamy leather and smoky tobacco, voluminous and substantial on the tongue, smoky wooden elements stick with forest honey and a hint of menthol on the palate while black pepper is very enjoyable spread the tongue and heated it up properly. Pepper and wooden spiciness massage the tongue with a light chili catch, old apricots and oranges stick to the palate, grated old grapefruit trickles onto a few sour cherries, dried spices and a bouquet of fresh meadow herbs refresh the palate while old and spicy wooden elements under the tongue rest. With slightly smoky wood tones and a hint of leather, the aftertaste gradually announces itself.

Hazelnuts and old wood tones stick to the palate, dried grapes and berries drip oily on the tongue, slightly dry wood tones end in cedar wood and hints of dried tobacco leaves. Creamy and mild draw the wonderful aromas of taste through your mouth and gradually fade away. The aftertaste spicy rears up one last time and then fades out with smoky raisins, honey, caramel, toffee, menthol and dried herbs in the background ... Wow!
