    This is not my Whisky.
    • Nose
a hint of cigar and a stale smell. you can smell the sherry notes.
    • Taste
very soft in the beginning but later it becomes a bit sharper in the back of the mouth but not much. The taste is disappointing.
    • Finish
lasts a long time but I don't know what it tastes like. Not my Whisky.

In my opinion, this whisky smells better than it tastes. The finish is too bitter and peppery for me.
A drop of water made the scent less intense, but its fruitiness is still clear. But the taste tasted more of a honey sweetness, turning into sweet cherries. Unfortunately, the aftertaste is still quite peppery, although the ginger notes have faded. Bitterness end - no change.
I am glad that I could taste it in a sample. However, I do not intend to buy the entire cylinder in the near future.

A good value whisky that compares favourably to many big name Speysiders in the same price range.
    • Nose
Hints of raisins but also copper coins, marzipan and a touch of crème de cassis. There's whisper of rhubarb as well, with just a whiff of watery orange juice.
    • Taste
Sticky honey and gentle spices with just a touch of green banana, but also dark caramel, red apples and almonds.
    • Finish
Soft red fruits and some gentle spices. Short to medium.
