Whisky Reviews for Rosebank 1989 SS

- I had better Rosebanks in the past.
Light nose with citrus in front. Some light flower accents and moth - balls on their very end. The whisky doesn't seem to open up very well. Even after 15 minutes and a drop of water it still doesn't make any difference. It's just flat, almost dead.
Soft and oily starter with the expected citrus notes. Some white pepper in the back of the mouth followed by the oak notes. There is also a less pleasant bitter and metallic taste in it. Not my favorite taste. With every sip the oily citrus and that metallic taste is always coming back and doesn't seem to get better. There's a lot in there except cohesion. Can't really find something positive in here.
Medium finish, sour, wood, bitterness and a bad taste.
