- SMWS Tasting Notes: The nose was soft, gentle and evocative - we shared stories of tropical fruits carried on a warm breeze and a waxy raincoat after the rain - also marzipan, lemon puffs, Turkish Delight and sweetie tobacco. The palate was immediately sweet, attractive and lightly perfumed - Jolly Ranchers, lime on mango, peach, Starburst and Tangfastics. With water, the nose gave us perfumed pear, sherbet lemons, marmalade, Fruit Salad chews and varnished wood - all very positive, innocent and untainted. The palate was now delightfully tasty, smooth and easy - orange sorbet and melon fruit cocktail, with a tangy tangerine, mint and fennel seed tingle to finish.
