Whisky Reviews for Glenmorangie 10-year-old
3 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 80.80 points
- One of my very first single malts. The nose is very characteristic - no other whisky has it: Beeswax, a hint of „Pronto“ furniture polish, and orange zest. On the palate quite smooth, malty, and again orange. An easy dram.
- The absolute entry-level malt. The entry-level bottle in the Glenmorangie core range. The best-selling single malt in Scotland. The Scots actually have to know. There is not much there, but it is quite pleasant. A very gentle, calm malt. A good alternative for summer.
Despite being colored, the color is a very bright golden yellow. Very bright maritime fruits on the nose. Like lemon, paired with vanilla. After the first sip, a floral scent sneaks up to your nose.
At the beginning a little sweetness, also here you can notice a nice vanilla. Then malt comes. Nothing stings there, nothing is sharp. Very gentle and soft.
The beautiful, delicious malt note ends in a medium-long finish with a little oak.
