Brilliant whisky for his age if you compare it to a lot of older sherry whisky. They need a lot to improve to compete with this bottle.
    • Nose
      94 94
Lots of sherry, dried fruits, vanilla, cocoa, cherry, little oakiness, perhaps a little kiwi. Use a 20's blender glass! It will make it even better then it's already is
    • Taste

Gift of whisky size, warned for CS so first a nice 50% strong Speysider taken to get in. That makes the hard impression of roasted (burnt?) Sugar less, but it is there; a bit milder but certainly not absent. CS sherry bombs are, in my opinion, overvalued sugar molasses, the stuff you make soft drinks after adding a lot of water (still worked at the soft drink factory in Sittard, once, hence). The oak dark color predicts whatever the fragrance brings: SHERRY !!!. However, it is very tasty, sweet and accessible whisky, with cotton candy and currants the size of apples. Subtle, however, it will be up to me, you can not find it. Violent, the Dolph Lundgren among the whiskys. The aftertaste is somewhat bitter and very dry, not long, although the tartness that remains lasts a long time. No, CS and I are not friends yet. I get it but that does not mean that I understand it.
