Smells intense, of course, fruity sweet. Clear cane rum note for me. But also a little coffee and mild wood. Jelly bananas in dark chocolate. Slightly floral. The alcohol has a mentholic effect, which goes well with the sweet notes. Fine toffee-vanilla note.
With a little water it becomes grassy.
Lively start with lots of white pepper. A sweet warmth that I associate with the rum. Pear and apple fruit. After a while in the mouth, it becomes watery and a little pale.
With a little water, the aromas combine more harmoniously and the experience in the mouth becomes more constant. A nice oak note then carries the other taste elements.
After the first undiluted sip, there was nothing to taste great at first. I attribute this to the alcohol content and my daily form.
After adding a little water I had a nice oak creaminess, a lot of vanilla, the sugar cane sweetness. But he also looked pleasantly sour. Again the jelly bananas.
