The Glendronach lies oily in the glass and medium-dark mahogany inspires in warm nuances. The alcohol is quite present at the beginning, but wonderful sherry aromas come through very quickly. Now not so very old wood and leather or cigar box, no, more the fruity notes like dark plums, dates and apricots, blueberries. Behind it, notes of almonds and nuts flash as well as a hint of coffee. The longer he breathes, the better he gets.

The Glendronach pushes properly on the tongue, the 57.2% are noticeable at first, but the volume percentage drops very quickly and a massive flow of saliva is noticeable. Now dark plums, blueberries and apricots come through again. These seem to have a touch of cinnamon. Very fruity, very voluminous. Cigar box, old leather still nil. With the second sip, a little more spices like ginger and pepper come through. However, the spices never have the upper hand and the sweetness comes out victorious here.

The 1993 Cask 8933 stays in the mouth for a long time. At first the sweet notes dominate, only gradually the mouth becomes drier, the tongue seems to stick to the palate. In between you might think you had a sweet cognac in your glass. Very balanced, very pleasing, very long, very beautiful.
