Now he is due. The nose is already neat. It also smells kind of old, musty, earthy and old honest sherry. Some nutmeg and roasted aromas. One could almost think that something like Tokajinoten is coming over. Hardly any smoke. The maritime salty note is there. Does he still have the chillicatch? I'm afraid only in the mouth, the 40% will not be enough ... ... and that's how it is. A nice oily consistency with dried fruit, lots of wood, without being bitter, vanilla, biscuit. dark cherries, marginal smoke and some cardamom in the back. No chilicatch and little or no pepper. Unfortunately comes out relatively little back and the finish is also medium. Conclusion: A nice whisky that promises much of the nose, but then unfortunately due to the 40% Alk Vol. (Maybe it is already less, since I do not know how long the bottle was open at the owner) not quite in the mouth and Finish can keep up.
