A wonderful sherry filling which is extremely characterized by old caramel and bitter dark chocolate. From time to time, fruit and sweetness flash, but in addition to dark chocolate, it is predominantly wooden elements with an extreme flavor that dominate. Gradually, the mysterious Speysider becomes dirtier and earthier, with a little reminiscent of the "dirty" springbanks of recent times. An unusual, but very successful bottling. I like it very much!

    • Nose
Cloudy copper mysteriously rests in the Premium Snifter. A wonderful mixture of old sherry, sweet caramel and old raisins can be seen from afar. While oily "legs" pull their endless strips back into the glass on the glass wall, caramel and dark chocolate draw a tart through your nose. Raisins and dates mix with hints of sour cherries and hazelnuts, spicy wood tones play with a hint of mint and menthol, the nose is slowly becoming earthy and closed. Shortly afterwards, the dark chocolate is again intense and tart on the nose, minimal espresso and sweet grapes and red berries are added.
    • Taste
The first sip flows creamy and tart at the same time through the mouth, subtle sharpness immediately tickles the tongue, grated dark chocolate melts in hot espresso. Old caramel and hard toffee are released from the fine dry note, earthy hazelnuts and raisins come into their own, spicy wood tones play with meadow herbs and a hint of thyme. In the background there is a dark menthol note, slowly chocolate and caramel stimulate the flow of saliva.
    • Finish
Dark sherry flavors are heavy and dirty on the tongue, dark chocolate rests on the tongue. Spicy wood elements warm the palate voluminously, earthy notes are added. The fruitiness has completely disappeared, dark chocolate and tart earthy tones lie in the stimulated saliva under the tongue.
