Furniture polish, leather, dried fruits, raisins, figs, dates, honey, very light tobacco leaves, vague smoke, seawater, a bit of hay.
Alcohol bite is quite harsh, really aggressive. Pepper, cane sugar sweetness, some molasses, light smoke, dried hay, plenty of barley. Really quite dry, oaky dryness. Second chew brings more toffee notes, but it's getting drier as well, and raisins, dates, fig jam, and tobacco leaves join in. Fairly nice mix of dry and sweet here. Third chew brings something more perfumed, fragrant olive oil with dried herbs. Alcohol keeps being very aggressive throughout, and it really disturbs the experience. First time I've had this issue all the way through a tasting.
Light peppery notes, toffee, some dried fruits, very light smoke and tobacco leaves, quite long and warm.
