Rather disappointment. Relatively indistinct and ex-bourbon barrels far too influenced. In this context, I couldn't help but remember Glenlivet 12yo First Fill. Although Midleton Very Rare is better after all, it's definitely not whiskey for which I would consider buying a whole bottle, let alone at the price at which it is commonly sold today.

    • Nose
Honey and boiled corn. Lightly bourbon. Glue and nail polish.

A few drops of water will bring distinctive vanilla sugar, marzipan and dandelion flower.
    • Taste
Maybe I could guess the bourbon blindly. Lightly pepper. Beeswax. Young peas, boiled root vegetables and vanilla pudding.

A few drops of water won't help much. Distinctive vegetable tones.
    • Finish
Slightly waxy and relatively short. Menthol and sterilized corn in a can. Cauliflower and broccoli.

After a few drops of water, the waxiness in combination with menthol freshness climbs even more.
