Still nice and for the price no complain.
    • Nose
      86 86
Very floral (sake), honey wax, sweet pear, minerals, plaster. Sea breeze, lime stone, some sharp powder (heather?).
    • Taste
      86 86
Honey, salt, mineral, not as oily or waxy as some previous batch. Some dustiness, some pepper, lemon.
    • Finish
      85 85
Medium, with some honey and saltiness

a very interesting standard. Incredibly complex for the age and a great variety of flavors from the nose to the palate to the finish. Very varied and special
    • Nose
Sweet, herbs and floral notes (flowery), some maritime notes, becoming fruity, honey and malt lightly emerge. In the background, citrus fruits come a little later, mainly lemon or lime
    • Taste
first sweet which quickly changes to a pleasant spiciness. Malty and yet salty at the same time. With the salt, the maritime notes come out again. Later it becomes fruity with oak notes. Nuts come in the background
    • Finish
Sweet malty with a lot of oak, spicy, a little honey, yet salty maritime, a bit of smoke easily comes through at the end. Medium to long.

I like it better without water.
With water it becomes significantly more waxy in aroma, but loses the spice in taste. The pepper stays.
    • Nose
Warming citrus notes and some orange and wax.
Smells like the dissolving multivitamin tablets.
    • Taste
Light, mild sweetness with just the right flavor. Slowly getting peppery.
    • Finish
medium long, warm, the spice lingers on the palate

I reanalyze this whisky after 3 months from the last time and 4 months from the opening of the bottle, which in the meantime has almost reached the end. This time I appreciate it much more and find it delicious, elegant and enjoyable
    • Nose
Wax, polished cabinet, cream, coconut, almonds, trifle. With water, the waxiness increases and a citrus note appears
    • Taste
Wax, pepper, lemon, mandarin, cream, thick and creamy body, chewable. With water the pepper decreases, the sweetness increases and you feel a beautiful cotton candy.
    • Finish
      Long, waxy and citrusy

The bottle has been open for almost a month now and the level has dropped to 3/4. Very good, perhaps I expected more given what is said about this malt, but extremely enjoyable, not very complex (I had to put a little imagination to express the tasting notes) but very good, simply to taste and savor without think too much. I will analyze it again in another month, we will see if it will open a little more.
    • Nose
      80 80
Very fragrant: good fruit, honey, wax, brioche with butter filled with jam, a touch of wood, non-existent alcohol
    • Taste
      80 80
In the mouth it is very spicy, tastes of lemon, ginger, sweet but not too much, fruit candy, imperceptible alcohol.
    • Finish
      80 80
Quite long, spicy, medium sweet, caramel finish.

Total enjoyable Whisky of the light and fruity kind, that is interesting to explore.
    • Nose
      83 83
Fruits like green apples and pears. Strong impression like a Riesling white wine. In addition some lemon can be observed.
    • Taste
      82 82
The fruits are still there, but vanilla and oak take over. So it is most probable pure Bourbon cask matured. The Whisky opens up nicely, if you add some water. Then, you sense in addition flowers and hay. Behind it some nuts.
    • Finish
      82 82
Medium long lingering taste, where fruit disappears and sweet nuts remain.
