A very oily and clean dram without any flaws. Not particularly complex, but really nice on the nose in Blenders, but then rather simple in the overall package. It's an enjoyable dram nonetheless. In principle, a very, very classic Mannochmore and a representative from the qualitative midfield of this distillery.
    Between 85 and 87 points.

Almost no alcohol in the first nose, but dense and very soft aromas of dark honey, barley sugar, baked apple, orange and some light leather.

Sweet start, here with a little more alcohol compared to the nose. The aromas correspond to the nose, are not thin, but not quite as dense and not quite as harmonious as in the nose.

Here I like it a little better with water, because it becomes a bit rounder, but unfortunately not particularly complex overall.

The finish is rather short but clean and the mouthfeel is oily.
Unfortunately, the alcohol is also a little too present here for the 48.4 percent.

Drinks by the dram. October 2022. Light in colour and slightly oily in the glass. Floral on the nose initially, stewed apples later. A fruity palette. Slightly short on the finish. Not huge amounts of complexity but a pleasant dram.

Clean, delicate and fresh with white wine notes and a crisp sweetness. Very nice indeed.

Sweet, gentle, straw, green fruit. Clean.

Fruity, sweet and dry, very much like a concentrated white wine. Nice with or without water. Slight coffee note, perhaps a spiced latté.

Agree with another reviewer, drying finish which has a lovely bubblegum note. Not especially long, but the alcohol lingers.

This whisky started with butter-cream. Honeysuckle then presented, followed by flesh of green grape. 7-up appeared over time, along with yellow stone fruits.
    • Taste
      82 82
The mouthfeel is very mellow to begin with. Overall it tasted very like a very rich white wine.
    • Finish
      82 82
The pleasant fruitiness and winey flavour faded away fairly quickly, leaving some bitterness and bubble gum.
