Whisky Reviews for High Coast Cinco

- Nysherry so it's lovely. Foam candy, Almond cubes. Almost a little Grumpy Soap. Poured the last thing out of the bottle after I had tested a particularly sherry-influenced old Laird O 'Logan blended from the 70's / 80's. It was with the reference from the "old sherry" that I got more out of this, really interesting. So very different but still similar in some weird way.
High Coast Cinco is like candy, so sweet and easy to enjoy. Modern, kind. Sherryn touches on the natural sweetness that I experience is already found in High Coast's raw spirit. A good balance despite the mixture of several different kinds of sherry barrels, nothing stuck out and disturbed.
Oily feeling in the mouth, not significantly alcoholic. Fairly long aftertaste, remains in the cheeks and at the back of the tongue. Spicy.
Positive experience from High Coast / BOX, perhaps the best I have tried so far.
