    Nose and palate are very different, varying
    • Nose
      Seawater, wet peat, mineral, sweet paprika, gets sweeter, a bit bacon-like, sweet barbecue sauce;
      with water: substantially more moderate, sweeter, cherries, cough candy
    • Taste
      Very creamy, vanilla, melon skin, chili flakes, yoghurt, lemon cream, salty, sweet mustard;
      with water: menthol candy, a pinch pepper, tamarind
    • Finish
      Black tea, refreshing mint, black pepper, a bit of Yuzu lemon with ginger;
      with water: black tea with lemin, more ginger

    The Lochindaal is the most interesting of the second series.

    In my opinion, the second series was not particularly successful. All 6 sensations are appealing on the nose, but 5 leave me with question marks when it comes to tasting.
    Only Lochindaal could convince me.

    I liked the first series very much, except for the two unturfed ones.

    Did Jim sit back and think that you can sell whisky at high prices in Switzerland with a good name? Rather only conditionally.
    Ultimately, what is in the dram and how we like it decides so that a proud price is paid for a bottle.

    If it comes to a third series, then I hope for Jim that he will once again conjure up "real" beauties from his barrel storage that live up to his name.
