In my opinion, the second series was not particularly successful. All 6 sensations are appealing on the nose, but 5 leave me with question marks when it comes to tasting.
Only Lochindaal could convince me.
I liked the first series very much, except for the two unturfed ones.
Did Jim sit back and think that you can sell whisky at high prices in Switzerland with a good name? Rather only conditionally.
Ultimately, what is in the dram and how we like it decides so that a proud price is paid for a bottle.
If it comes to a third series, then I hope for Jim that he will once again conjure up "real" beauties from his barrel storage that live up to his name.
