- [October, 1998] I had this dram during a tasting at Kyrburg. In my old rating system (ten scales that translate into WB points: 50
- 66 - 75 - 80 - 82,5 - 85 - 87,5 - 90 - 92,5 - 95) I scored this dram 85. My notes state a quite shy nose but rich body. The finish is rather short.
- A fresh and dry Glenlivet. Not that complex. Difficult to compare with other Glenlivet expression for me.
Lots of fresh floral notes. Violet. But also wet grass. Green apples. Some mint.
Dry but intense. Notes of grapes. Oranges and tangerines. Some toffee and vanilla, A little spice of white pepper as well
Medium long. Liquorice and cinnamon.
