It already pulls your mouth together ;-)
Just like biting a lemon. Despite everything, it is actually quite mild, is easy to drink without water and a treat for the palate for friends of dry whiskys, definitely not an everyday Ardbeg.
The big winner is the nose that takes me straight to Islay.

Nice spicy smoke, like from scorched pine needles, with fresh mint, peach, sweet grapes, sour, sour apple, light creaminess, vanilla, with time it gets sweeter from the basic tone, a breeze of cinnamon, and pepper, malt, a short touch of bread dough, grape juice, at the back you can also find almonds, nice nose
after the first sip even fresher, a bit of citrus is added, you can summarize it with spicy smoke + sweet grapes + fresh mint and citrus, the rest are details and in the background, now I just had to think about this yellow lemon glaze

quite dry at the beginning, wood, acidic, then becoming sweeter, dry, slightly cinnamon-like smoke, sour apple, grapes, slightly creamy, quite tart, bitten grape skin
second sip: really edgy at the start, now here too citrus, clearly citrus, vanilla, chalky, the rest of the first sip is there again, not what I expected, but not bad now, but rather on the dry side
    • Finish

here it gets nutty, hazelnuts, astringent, a hint of grapes on the palate, cooling mouthfeel, fresh, light smoke, and a citrus overtone
