Heavy sherry sweetness, then tart citrus fruit - maybe grapefruit, raisins, cocoa. The alcohol stings a bit, but overall is quite well integrated.
With water, the smell hardly changes, maybe becomes a little lighter, the fruit is now more in the direction of sour cherry.
Without water, the alcohol is much too hot, hot and sweet.
With water: sweet and sour cherries, ginger, the alcohol is still (too) hot, bittersweet chocolate.
Intense sweet and tart, sour cherries in chocolate. Delicious. About medium length.
With water: same aromas, the intensity increases a little - almost for a long time.
