Interesting, complex aromas in the nose, which unfortunately do not show up so much in the taste. The age or the barrel has taken away the freshness and fruitiness of the whisky. The finish is too woody for me.

Overall, this spring bench seems to me ... constructed.
    • Nose
      89 89
tropical fruits, pepper, fresh sawdust, caramel, grated lemon peel, charred wood, clove, malt, pickled cucumber, furniture polish, a little raw ham, very weak matchstick note
    • Taste
      85 85
sweet, slightly spicy, bitter tannins, old kitchen cupboard, caramel, malt, becoming creamy, white pepper, dried apricots, bitter orange peel
    • Finish
      84 84
medium length, creamy, woody, slightly bitter, liquorice, light notes of ash

Qiute fruity but I don't feel Springbank signature smoke flavor on the palette. The nose is much better than taste imo ...

    1704) Springbank, 18YO, Bottled 7-1-2020 (88%BB/12%PT)
    • Nose
N- The trademark meaty-feinty in fine balance. In summary, sufficient earth of peat, refine honey and tropical sweet that glow solidly on the nose. Tiger balms sooth oilments that eases the tension of strength. Nose deep and find the white molasses moonshine if you are lucky. (89/22)
    • Taste
P- Like a rose with thorns, liquefy candy sweet with prickly coat. Utterly complex over medium body. The thing with Springbank is that it has the ability to mold the usual off notes to taste wonderful, and I think this is what make the SB unique. (88/22)
    • Finish
F- Long, feinty chews with nutty vermouth feels. Lingers well over times like a Martini-Perfecto. (90/22)

B/B- 88/22 Missing the coastal notes, but still a very fine dram.

Weighted Rate- 88pt So what is the fuss all about that all core range of Springbank get flips like 2-3 times more than the usual price? Purely just because of the scarcity. However in term of quality, frankly speaking, those willing to bought the much inflated priced core range were quite ..... ignorance, probably a polite way to describe the action. I just have to laugh when looked at the flipper's price list for the 12YO CS, for those who bought it, lick the bottle clean please.

    Scent - something stingy.
So I remember being beaten by the Glenscottia Double, right? I wanted to, but looking at the color, it doesn't seem like it
    It's a strange scent, but I couldn't catch something.
It has a colorful and complex aroma (grapes, browned pears, etc.)
Looks like Ololoso and Bourbon, I don't know...
Once, the dope was felt. I feel like cs
The taste is much tastier than expected.
Different from the series I felt in the scent
A feeling of rolling in the mouth of rich tropical fruits
But this is not sherry cay because of the color
There are very few high-grade bourbons I've tried, so I thought about whether I could create such a colorful scent with bourbon cs, and the conclusion I came to was Nadura Pupil.
    Weak feet feeling
I wonder if it's because of the pot that I felt Sherry mixed in.. Anyway, the blinds were fun and John Mattang..

scbp-3363, with the shadow of Langero's 10 years, salty, light, grease, and peat.

For Genting, the peaty feel is heavy, the overall is simple, refreshing and comfortable, aloe vera refreshing, watermelon white, more lime juice, pine needles, sour pineapple, turpentine, lime peel, sea salt. 89
    • Taste
      88 88
Cold oil, very heavy salt, micro-ginger, ethyl acetate, watermelon peel, vegetable oil, rosin, lighter tannins, lighter burning aged tobacco leaves. The strength of the wine is medium to weak, the fat is strong and salty, rich in weight, the flavor complexity is average, and the balance is acceptable except for the saltiness. 87-88
    • Finish
      88 88
The smell of melon peel reappears, tannins, ginger, slightly refreshing with aloe vera, slightly licorice, not obvious sweetness, not obvious bitterness, refreshing finish. 88
