A peaty single malt whisky celebrates the liberation of the Netherlands from German occupation at the end of the Second World War. Although not stated, the whisky is understood to be a young Staoisha, a heavily peated single malt from Bunnahabhain. It first appeared in heavy numbers on the independent bottling scene in 2019, to some impressive reviews for a young whisky.

First impression: what a peaty strong one. Sea wind, wooden old ship, sea salt. Similar to Wee Bee.
It should be all. Taste vanish from the mouth rather fast.
Gently pinching at the tip of the tongue.
Good whisky but for this prize in this style I can have 2 bottles of Ardbeg 10. More and better.

Heavily peated whisky. Apparently comes from Bunnahabhain. More than heavily peated is therefore not really possible. A nicely peated whisky, hence above 80 points.
