At first only sweet smoke, peat, moor, machine oil.
With a little time, the dram opens up slowly and becomes finer, followed by bread crust, jalapeño, black olives, dried tomatoes, dates wrapped in bacon, mussels and sea air, some leather, a touch of fresh fruit (strawberries or honeydew melon?)
The nose takes time, at the beginning I had "only" 90 points, but gradually more and more details came up ... and points. -
Pleasant and easy to drink, but also less complex than the nose would suggest.
Maybe 46% would have done the dram better, who knows ...
Oily, gentle smoke, dried meat, smoked almonds, pipe tobacco, a little vanilla in the distance -
Long and warm, campfire, warm sand, chestnuts, dates, slightly salty at the very end
