Appearance: Light to medium gold, oily.
Nose: Buttery, toffee, vanilla, honey. Very sweet, dessert-like nose. Slightly herbal, touch of oak, bit of biscuits.
Palate: Sweet, rounded, mellow, honey, butter and toffee. Slightly peppery and herbal. Some raisin and dried apricots. Chewy malts and some banana.
Finish: Peppery, honey, butter. Sweetness lingers as does the peppery heat.
With Water: Herbal notes come out, along with more fruit. Actually, some what makes it smoother and more enjoyable.
Overall: Quite sweet and dessert-like. Luscious but simple. Very much on the creamy, buttery side. Nice for the price, but better single malts are available for about the same price. This can get a bit boring.
