Had a bottle of this but sold it to Samuel Karlsson. Do I regret it? Well, a good dram but Samuel as a true Connemara collector deserves the bottle more than I do. Cheers Sam, and thanks for the sample.

    • Nose
Fruity to begin with, overripe apple, subtle peat smoke, oak, salty mineral, sea weed, salt licorice, violet far far back.
    • Taste
Sharp and bitter delivery with loads of heavy peat smoke and mineral. Salt water and soil is present as well. With water it becomes sweeter with honey or treacle.
    • Finish
The finish is medium to long with heavy peat smoke, tar, white pepper, salt water and some bitter lemon rind. With water the honey sweetness struggle to survive in the finish.
