Whisky Reviews for Dalmore 12-year-old
3 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 82.71 points
- Nice fruity nose, smooth and easy, very drinkable for newbies and once in a blue moon drinkers. Week mouthfeel, and due to the poor 40% imho really thin with a medium to short finish. Why the E150 colorant, why only 40%? It could be so much better!
- Aroma: citrus fruits, chocolate and aromatic spices.
Taste: Clear citrus notes with oranges and Oloroso sherry. A hint of vanilla in the background.
Finish: roasted coffee and chocolate.
- Viewing Eyes: Gold
Smell Nose: old newspapers, dust, wet wood, cream walnuts. Wake up for 10 minutes, dried dates, dried dates yogurt, dried plums, blueberry sauce, fresh tobacco, milk chocolate. The end is a warm orange fruit, fresh and sweet and juicy, with a good sense of fusion. Smell is mild and convergent.
Taste Palate: Sweet and restrained, juicy orange meat is slightly sweet and sour. In the middle section, there are fine black crafts, wooden frankincense and red jujube water. The back section is long tobacco, cigar, and fragrant smoke. The whole journey was shrouded in hazy smoke.
Finishing: Long and light, wood products, dried dates, blueberry sauce, tobacco
Body of the wine: medium to light, medium fat, a little mellow and wrapped, the body is soft and has no bitter bottom.
Overall: It tastes balanced, but a little water, shredded tobacco, and cigars feel particularly long. It may be that I spoke lightly, and did not feel that Bodhidharma 12 was indifferent.
