    Probably the scotch I like the least so far, even though it's better than Johnie red I think this one is not useable as a "full glass" whisky The finish is actually awful for my taste - the feared just alcohol taste is with this one

    This Chivas Regal is the latest Chivas bottling with age indication. Chivas blends are very old and mainly contain Speyside whiskeys. The 12 year old is made from different malts and grains. Whiskey from the Strathisla distillery is used as lead malt

      sweet, very delicate, dessert, vanilla, fudge, milk chocolate, honey.
    • Finish
      Sweet, medium length, caramel, nutmeg, honey, toffee.

    Who really needs this?
    You can't enjoy this neat and for mixing there are plenty other better and more affordable options out there.

    It used to be tastier at times, it became more alcoholic and less rich.

    Very standard and very speyside, this makes many scotch population’s first choice. However this merely represent some very normal very basic characters and there’s certain more to be found in the market. Fewer of my friends do not neat drink this one after they learn.
