- Gate number 17 of my Tastillery advent calendar. Strong and full. Not necessarily something for beginners. Not particularly multifaceted. I expected more personally. A dilution to 46% might help.
sweet fruitiness, lots of herbs, a little malt, honey, if you have a deep nose comes the alcohol, some fresh grass, a hint of caramel, a little salt
spicy (salt and pepper), maritime notes, slightly sweet, some malt, a touch of fruity, some honey, some wheat, oak, a bit oily
medium-long due to the alcohol content, a lot of oak, spicy (salt and pepper), maritime notes, wood, a little nutty, a little chili, a little malt, hardly fruity, a little sweet, smoke
closed, strong, sea hints, iodine, mineral, sweet, fruits - maybe some green apples
sweet, fruity, pepper, new wood, oak, salty caramel, strong
oak bitterness, warm and balanced, mid-long

young and winter, IMHO in the summer it is difficult to enjoy it ...
- Very pleasant to drink. Round, creamy and soft with some sweetness in the aftertaste. Not overly complex so really nice to drink for not so experience whisky drinkers.
- A very pleasant dram - well worth having a try.
Very gentle on the nose - the alcohol is overpowering.
Some notes of salt and iodine.
Long and smooth.
- Bruichladdich lemonade
3 cl The Classic Laddie
2 cl cointreau
1.5 cl lemon
1.5 cl lime
stir with the Stirer in the Bruichladdich tumbler, add 3 ice cubes and then fill up with 7Up. A real recommendation for the barbecue season and the combination underscores the notes of the Bruichladdich immensely.
