Having had this in a blind tasting lineup along with 3 other single malts, I had this mistaken for a lightly peated, juvenile, mediocre Bunna, do I need to say more??!
The nose is dominated by sweet yoghurt with some dark toffee, alongside some chocolaty notes, and an old, dry, faint sawdust note, with some farmyardy peat, feels somehow uncomplementary, and premature.
The nose very much translates onto the palate, the weight of the distillate carries the aromas of the nose well, although there's not much to carry in the first place, toffeeish sweet, some cocoa, some farmyardy yoghurty peat, younghish.
The finish is a little toffeeish, chocolaty, farmyardy, and really short.
