Whisky Reviews for Glengoyne 10-year-old

1 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 79.22 points

  1. The Macallan scored this whisky 71 points Connoisseur

A nice aperitif and a lovely character. Don't reduce this one to much if you want to have fun with it, just a few drops to create a simple explosion of aroma's.
    • Nose
Aromatic, lime/grapefruit, slightly malty sweetness, strange: the aroma of the distillery surroundings(Campsie Fells), fruityness lasts (reduced: explosion of fruit acid, some butterscotch, multiple-cereal pancake with some syrup, later some strawberries and greeny notes).
    • Taste
Cereal like, soft and bitter, slightly dry, buttery and liqorice-wood (reduced: very gentle, light sweetness, nothing much further to taste).
    • Finish
Quite long, full, power and yet so simple.
