Whisky Reviews for Springbank 10-year-old

The 10yo porcelain bottle version of the 80s didn't suit my appetite. It was purely for the purpose of collecting stamps to summon the dragon.
    • Nose
Shirley, who was very overbearing for the first time, mixed unground coarse salt with rubber. Slowly oily wheat aroma began to stand out. Sweet pastries embellished with dark fruits, toffee, 40% chocolate, and mocha.
    • Taste
Old Genting peat (cleaning agent that was not rinsed on the tableware, gasoline leaked on the asphalt road in summer), leather, nuts, grease, malt, fruity.
    • Finish
      Longer, kerosene, wheat aroma.

The nose is very good but the palate cannot keep the same level - nevertheless a good old style Springbank
    • Nose
Cooked oranges, toffee, hints of nutmeg and spices, sherry wood - typical old style Springbank
    • Taste
Little punchy, oily, woody, old books
    • Finish
Long and warm, gets more punchy, even little zesty and a tad bitter
