    nose:
candied fruit on red fruit, a little cocoa, a bit of used leather, a bit waxy, a bit of lacquer, malt present, soggy oak!
fruit cooked on slightly acid citrus and grapes, macerated prune.
    mouth:
the cooked fruit, still macerated, orange peel, cooked zest, a bit of slightly bitter almond kernels,
    a return of a little wine, the alcohol arrives to magnify these scents, a little spicy on white pepper;
woody, fruity return, a little maderized there with a slightly honeyed side, then bitter dark chocolate, cooked oranges and intense rind which paradoxically gives great suppleness on the palate.
long finish, on wood, cooked fruits, lean cocoa, and spices.

  2. Aza scored this whisky 91 points Expert Junior

It’s incredible how a young Whisky could be so complex, this one is magnificent, certainly the most complex young Whisky I recently tasted!
One of the best Glenfaclas I tasted, and it’s only 9yo ... nice selection, really impressive
    • Nose
Candied fruit, spices, dry sherry, a bit of camphor and wood and even a bit of tropical fruits.
Alcohol is perfectly integrated, great nose.
Very complex. You can literally stick you nose in the glass for minutes, it’s evolving and changing, really nice!
    • Taste
That’s really powerful dry and spiced sherry. Perfectly integrated alcohol as usual with those Le Gus’t bottlings.
It’s really sharp and complex on the dry sherry and spicy notes, fruity, camphor notes too here, a bit of noble wood
      That’s really old school !
    • Finish
Long and powerful dry spicy sherry finish, no alcohol notes, perfect.
