"Whisky Freedom 1848 Bourbon Cask 48% Alc. Vol"
The distillate of our single bourbon cask whisky is stored in former bourbon casks. The American white oak, from whose wood the bourbon barrels are made, is characterized by a high vanillin content. The aromas of vanilla also find their way into the whisky. This whisky is therefore much more vanilla than its brothers. Notes of caramel or nutty nuances can often be recognized. Toasty notes are added depending on the intensity of the cask burnout.
Our whisky is not chill filtered to express the full flavor.
Appearance: Golden yellow like the cornfield on which the barley grows and thrives.
Smell: Acacia blossom honey, slightly grassy note, paired with hints of orange peel.
Taste: Freshly mown alpine meadow hay, honey with vanilla, gentle malt.
