A well balanced 18yo with an excellent price-performance ratio. Easy to drink and not so complex that you couldn't even enjoy it in the evening. A positive surprise from a still unknown to me.
old oak barrels with wine cellar, earthy and profound, lots of fruits (ripe apples and pears), walnuts, sherry, dried fruits, raisins, caramel
Sweet, caramel, dark fruits, dark chocolate, malt, almonds, berries, sherry, fig, raisin, oak, spices
Creamy-sweet mouthfeel, later becoming tart, bitter-sweet and later noticeable oak of the 18 years, combined with pleasant spiciness
ang and warming, getting drier, full-bodied with what nose and palate promised
