  1. Zinni scored this whisky 91 points Connoisseur

Absolutely oldschool understatement part like it could have been filled 30 years ago.
    • Nose
Old school highland character! Not quite dry hay, walk in the forest, orange zest.
    • Taste
Subtle and elegant, new wood, freshly cut mushrooms.
    • Finish
Pleasantly dry, bitter almond, apricot kernel, medium length.

  3. ChefScotch scored this whisky 90 points Expert Junior

    • Nose
Lots of cantaloupe and honeydew melons, ripe banana, cooked banana flambeed with grand mariner, vanilla beans, strawberry jam, candied ginger, pink grapefruits, rye bread, rubbery notes
    • Taste
Thick malty creaminess, lots of barrel char with mezcal and burning rubber, some clover honey and unripe pears.
    • Finish
The rubber goes through the whole palette and in a good way, campfire maltiness, with hints of grapefruit

This whisky was so delicious and delightful on both the nose and palate
    Sweet creamy fruit
    • Nose
      Sweet berries and honey
    • Taste
Complex and mouth coating of raisins and dried berries
    • Finish
Long smooth for its abv of 48

Grassy and sharp. Fresh cut wood. Dragon fruit, pear, crisp apple. In the mouth it turns dry. New oak, straw, hay, vanilla and peach syrup. I don’t love this style. I’ve yet to meet a Loch Lomond I like and the trend continues.
